Overview
The Media Supervisor (Planning & Strategy) serves as the day-to-day lead for end-to-end, omnichannel media planning, spanning digital and traditional media. This role is responsible for translating overall marketing and media objectives into actionable, integrated communication plans, while leading the team through execution and optimization across channels. The Supervisor acts as a primary client contact for stewardship and planning, maintaining a strong command of both strategic and functional media expertise across channels. This role offers frequent client interaction, ownership of the integrated media plan, and leadership in cross-channel collaboration and project management.
Responsibilities
Support the Associate Director in the development of integrated, omnichannel media plans and recommendations (digital, social, search, programmatic, TV, audio, OOH, print, etc.)
Translate overarching marketing and communications strategies into cross-channel planning frameworks and actionable deliverables
Oversee and manage the team, ensuring seamless execution of all media activities across channels
Lead the development of comprehensive communication plans, ensuring alignment between digital and traditional media efforts
Identify and apply insights from research, data, and marketplace trends to enhance overall media strategy and performance
Ensure best-in-class implementation of approved plans, partnering with activation teams across all media subject areas
Act as the primary point of contact for client stewardship, providing updates, insights, and recommendations
Develop a deep understanding of client business goals and translate them into channel-agnostic media strategies
Leverage proprietary and third-party research tools to inform audience-first, data-driven planning
Prepare and present integrated media plans, including objectives, strategy, channel roles, rationale, and performance expectations
Foster strong collaboration with partner agencies and internal teams to deliver a seamless, connected communications approach
Manage multiple workstreams across brands, balancing strategy development, execution oversight, and team leadership
Partner closely with activation teams (digital, investment, analytics, etc.) to ensure alignment and clarity on campaign objectives and benchmarks
Mentor and develop Associate(s) and Planner(s), fostering growth in both digital and traditional media skills
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
4–6 years of experience in media planning across digital and/or traditional channels
Strong understanding of full-funnel, omnichannel media strategy and planning principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across a fast-paced environment
Solid grasp of media fundamentals across channels (e.g., reach/frequency, audience targeting, measurement)
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (strategy, investment, analytics, creative, etc.)
Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging media channels, consumer behavior, and industry trends

Compensation Range: $75,050 - 102,700. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
