Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Dallas, Texas

Maintenance Technician-$30-32/hr Direct Hire

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining all production and facilities in a food and beverage environment. This role requires ensuring equipment and facilities operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on production equipment.

  • Repair conveyors, mixers, and blenders.

  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Install doors, maintain lighting, and perform painting tasks.

  • Ensure the facility meets GMP standards for food and beverage manufacturing.

  • Maintain a safe working environment.

Essential Skills

  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong preference for food and beverage experience.

  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience in facilities maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Welding experience, especially TIG welding, is strongly preferred.

Work Environment

The facility houses 125-150 production personnel, with steel-toed shoes required. The available shifts are 7 AM to 7 PM (1 opening) and 7 PM to 7 AM (4 openings) on a 2-2-3 schedule, working every other weekend in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $81120.00/yr.
