NTT Data Americas, Inc. Life Insurance Lead Consultant in Dallas, Texas
NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Life Insurance Lead Consultant to provide expert support for batch operations, including job monitoring, restarts, reruns, abend resolution, and data corrections.Utilize z/VSE and z/OS, Assembler, Easytrieve, COBOL, CICS, JCL, and VSAM to support production systems.
Apply ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes to ensure system stability and performance.
Perform deep technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and production recovery.
Manage P1/P2 incidents effectively, meeting strict SLA response and resolution targets.
Coordinate with business users, vendors, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless operations.
Use ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira for incident and change management.
Leverage strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of experience in production support roles within the life insurance domain.
Strong expertise in z/VSE and z/OS, Assembler, Easytrieve, COBOL, CICS, JCL, and VSAM.
Proven experience in batch operations support and ITIL processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
Deep knowledge of the life insurance industry.
Experience in leading production support teams.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
