GENERAL FUNCTION

The Distribution Clerk works closely with the Team Lead to ensure that spare parts and preventive maintenance (PM) materials are delivered to HMC labs in a timely and accurate manner to support equipment operation and preventive maintenance activities. The role also includes maintaining accurate inventory levels and inventory accounting records.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fulfills (Pick/Pack/Ship) spare part workorders and PM kits in timely manner to support lab operations.

  • Receives orders and adds parts to BOM / Spares Inventory.

  • Supports inventory control operations according to established policies.

  • Supports inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations.

  • Prepares freight shipments and coordinates pick-up and delivery of these shipments.

  • Manages RMA activities with vendors for equipment repair.

  • Supports physical inventory activities according to established policies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma

  • Experience in warehouse/inventory control environment.

  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks, within set timelines, while meeting the standards.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Must be able to work as part of a team; ability to work with others.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excel and MS Word competency, in addition to basic computer skills.

  • Self-Starter and motivated to complete tasks on own.

  • Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, and professionalism.

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP/Oracle Purchasing system.

OTHER INFORMATION

Pay: $20.00/hour

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM

Details:

  • This position supports the technical help desk by managing and supplying the machinery and components used for the glasses production environment. The work is primarily driven by work orders—there are two main types—and you would be responsible for pulling the required parts for the IT team and shipping them out to various sites.

  • As you get further into the role, you’ll also take on responsibilities related to inventory. That includes receiving incoming orders, packaging items, restocking shelves, and working within the inventory control system.

  • Some physical components can weigh up to 40 lbs, but there’s always support available as well as equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts. The inventory ranges from small items such as washers and gaskets to larger components like pumps.

  • Additionally, you’ll participate in the annual physical inventory (PI).

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
