Description
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will focus on accurately inputting, reviewing, transferring, and managing client data within spreadsheets and other systems. This is a long-term contract opportunity for professionals who thrive in detail-oriented, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
• Input, update, and transfer large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review documents and reports to identify discrepancies and correct errors.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive related information.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Escalate any unresolved issues or inconsistencies to the appropriate department.
• Adhere to company policies and compliance standards.
• Utilize spreadsheet tools and software effectively to streamline data entry processes.
• Assist in generating reports based on entered data as required.
• Maintain organization and efficiency while managing high-volume data entry tasks.
Requirements
• Proven experience in data entry, preferably with finance-related records.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing large datasets.
• Familiarity with tax software such as QuickBooks or similar is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and following instructions.
• Understanding of confidentiality and compliance standards when handling sensitive data.
