Description
We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all areas of accounting and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, technical expertise in US GAAP, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement within the finance function.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all accounting operations, including general ledger activities, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and revenue recognition processes.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in adherence to established accounting standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary liaison with auditors.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital, providing forecasts and insights to support financial planning.
• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting efforts to align with organizational goals.
• Evaluate and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor and manage the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Requirements • Proven experience in managing journal entries and month-end close processes.
• Strong knowledge and application of US GAAP principles.
• CPA certification is required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial reporting across multiple locations.
• Experience with implementing and optimizing accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support operational decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
