Insight Global Commercial Sales Representative – Fire & Security Solutions in Dallas, Texas

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to support their client’s growth across their fire, life safety, and security business. This role is focused on commercial clients and requires a true hunter mentality—someone who is comfortable building a book of business while also managing and expanding existing accounts. This person will be responsible for building long-term relationships with client’s, developing, and executing effective sales strategies, and conducting market and competitor research to identify new opportunities. They’ll be responsible for upselling and cross selling services with existing and new customers. They will train with the Regional Sales Manager and will be trained on NetSuite if they don’t already have that experience. The first 3 months will be considered their training and ramp up time, however, they should be using their extra time to prospect and can still sell to clients.

Skills and Requirements

2–3+ years of professional sales experience, preferably within fire alarm, life safety, or security industries with a strong focus on commercial sales

Experience selling fire alarm systems, security solutions, and/or life safety services (only need one)

Comfortable inheriting and continuing to grow select existing accounts

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to bring an existing book of business is a plus

experience with ERP systems preferred - NetSuite
