Robert Half Civil Litigation Attorney (Texas Licensed | Remote) in Dallas, Texas
Description
We are seeking an experienced defense‑side Civil Litigation Attorney to provide interim litigation support for a busy legal team. This position can be fully remote; however, candidates must hold an active Texas law license. The role is focused on hands‑on litigation work, including drafting and case support, and is ideal for a seasoned litigator who can step in quickly and contribute immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
Assist with motion practice, legal research, and brief writing
Support ongoing civil litigation matters in state and/or federal court
Prepare amended answers, discovery responses, and other routine filings
Assist with depositions, hearings, and case preparation as needed
Work collaboratively with attorneys on existing matters
Requirements
Qualifications:
Active Texas law license required
5+ years of civil litigation experience
Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings and motions independently
Defense‑side civil litigation background required
Insurance defense experience highly preferred
Some appellate exposure (state or federal) preferred (briefing, research, or support)
Familiarity with Texas civil procedure
Ability to step into matters mid‑stream and work efficiently
