CBRE Business Development Lead - Commercial Pricing & Risk - Remote in Dallas, Texas

Job Description

Manages and leads the overall financial modeling of multi-million-dollarreal estate outsourcing pursuits, including org modeling, labor estimates,overhead, operating expense budgeting, fee analysis, benchmarking, and otherfinancial analytics.

Interacts with client through participation in introductorymeetings pitches and contract negotiations. Supports the client relationshipand business development activities with sector Sales & Client Solutions.

Responsible for and has full ownership and leadership of price modeling,operating budgets, staffing models, and labor costs for mid to large scale realestate outsourcing pursuits.

Contributes to the creation of a wide variety of customized,professional-quality materials for new pursuits and renewal contracts (mostcommonly written proposals, RFP responses, and graphical presentations)

Participates in client-facing meetings for cultivation andbusiness development efforts as required.

Contributes to agendas of GWS Enterprise sector sales andleadership meetings.

Manages collation of financial information from businesslines and reporting in relation to the same as it pertains to new and renewalbusiness.

Develops strong working relationships with subject matterexperts throughout the organization at the functional, account management andsenior leader levels.

Participates in process of key client plans and manageupdates in partnership with finance.

Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers and othersubject matter experts involved in a business pursuit project.

Supports in implementing the client relationships internalcommunications plan to promote the sector initiatives, working with the SolutionExcellence team as required.

Performs other duties as assigned.

When required, provides formal supervision to individual employees withinsingle functional or operational area.

When required, recommends staff recruitment, selection,promotion, advancement, corrective action, and termination.

When required, prepares and delivers performance appraisalfor staff.

Mentors and coaches matrix team members to further developcompetencies and shares knowledge across the organization.

Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistentwith the company's values.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or universityrequired. MBA preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or trainingwith a background in finance, consulting, or analytics preferred.

Experience may include a minimum of 2 years commercial realestate developing outsourcing solutions, pricing and org development models.

Interest and participation in real estate industry events.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to prepare analytics and reports in a pre-designedstyle and format.

Ability to articulate commercial value in presentations.

Ability to respond to inquiries effectively and efficientlyfrom clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management.

Ability to effectively present information.

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms andprinciples.

Create complex financial/business analysis and reports andreview analysis prepared by others.

Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial dataand develop innovative solutions.

Supports and implements financial policies andprocedures.

Supports achievement of departmental budget.

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a varietyof options in complex situations.

Requires expert level analytical and quantitativeskills.

Technically savvy with solid experience in Microsoft Office(PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Outlook. Advanced Excel skills preferred.

Experience working with large data sets and deciphermultiple types of RFP models preferred.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures,company policies, and business practices to achieve general results anddeadlines.

Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines.Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
