Deloitte AWS DevOps Solution Specialist with Active Secret Clearance in Dallas, Texas

Work You'll Do
As a US Delivery Center Solution Specialist on the team, you will:
Work with engineering teams to implement application build and deployment (DevOps) processes and deployment pipelines
Create, implement, and manage the tools and scripts to automate everyday DevOps operations
Maintain multiple (DevOps) environments based on project requirements
Support application and product feature release management across the development life cycle through to production deployment
Coordinate with application and system development engineers to troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues
Identify and advise new tools and processes to improve the DevOps process to increases an organization's ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity
Leverage deep understanding of core DevOps practices (Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Monitoring), as well as of DevOps integration with automated testing and/or automation deployment verification
Leverage prior experience with common configuration management version control, build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, CodeCommit, Chef, Ansible), as well as modern cloud build and deployment tools (GitLab, Beanstalk, OpsWorks, CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Active Secret clearance required
3+ years hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, ELB, security groups, NACLs, EBS/EFS) supporting application environments
3+ years experience implementing core DevOps practices: CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), continuous monitoring, and configuration management
2+ years experience using version control plus build/deploy tooling in production (Git with Jenkins or GitLab and AWS CodeCommit/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy; Bitbucket acceptable)
1+ years experience integrating automated testing and/or deployment verification into CI/CD pipelines
Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
- Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia)
Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
1+ years experience deploying applications to containers/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, Fargate)
and/or authoring IaC with CloudFormation and/or Terraform (Chef/Ansible also acceptable)Cloud native language experience (Lambda, Node.js, Python, Go)
AWS certifications (associate and professional level), RedHat Linux system administration and HashiCorp Terraform certifications are preferrable
Experience with server hardening for security compliance
Experience with cloud operations (backup, patching, vulnerability management)
