Aerotek Avionics Technician in Dallas, Texas

*This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO*

Job Description

  • Avionics Technicians will be performing classified heavy modifications for the United States military

  • Creating and installing the latest and greatest technology

  • Additional duties include service extensions, depot level maintenance, and other C/D level aircraft checks

  • In addition to typical avionics duties, here you will work with dozens of different types of connectors and route wire harnesses throughout entire aircraft

  • Other duties may be assigned

Required Skills / Experience

  • At least 4 years of hands-on avionics experience in an aircraft maintenance, modification, or heavy maintenance environment.

  • Demonstrated experience working with crimpers for wiring and connectors.

  • Tools are required - candidates must have a shadowed and etched toolbox.

  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Pay:

  • $40/hr

  • Per Diem is available

  • Contractors also receive 6 paid sick days and 6 paid holidays

Work Schedule:

  • Technicians will work a 4x10 schedule, either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday

Placement:

  • Long-term open-ended Contract, with ability to go direct around the 1-year mark

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
