Aerotek Avionics Technician in Dallas, Texas

Job Description
Avionics Technicians will be performing classified heavy modifications for the United States military
Creating and installing the latest and greatest technology
Additional duties include service extensions, depot level maintenance, and other C/D level aircraft checks
In addition to typical avionics duties, here you will work with dozens of different types of connectors and route wire harnesses throughout entire aircraft
Other duties may be assigned
Required Skills / Experience
At least 4 years of hands-on avionics experience in an aircraft maintenance, modification, or heavy maintenance environment.
Demonstrated experience working with crimpers for wiring and connectors.
Tools are required - candidates must have a shadowed and etched toolbox.
Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Pay:
$40/hr
Per Diem is available
Contractors also receive 6 paid sick days and 6 paid holidays
Work Schedule:
- Technicians will work a 4x10 schedule, either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
Placement:
- Long-term open-ended Contract, with ability to go direct around the 1-year mark

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
