Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Dallas, Texas
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract with the potential for a long-term position in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Responsibilities:
• Accurately process a large volume of vendor invoices while adhering to company policies and deadlines.
• Utilize Adobe DocuSign to manage electronic approvals and securely store payment authorizations.
• Review, code, and match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute payments while ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Maintain organized and accessible digital records of invoices, contracts, and related documentation.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries, payment statuses, and discrepancies.
• Assist with accounts payable tasks during month-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and maintain adherence to internal controls. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment handling.
• Strong skills in coding invoices and performing account reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Adobe DocuSign or similar electronic document management tools.
• Ability to manage high-volume invoice processing with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with statement reconciliations and resolving vendor discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate and accessible records.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
• Knowledge of internal controls and audit compliance requirements.
