Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Dallas, Texas
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee key financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting. This role, based in Dallas, Texas, requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing accounts receivable, financial statements, payroll tasks, and tax-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the accounts receivable process, including monthly client billing, invoice reviews, and corrections based on attorney feedback.
• Oversee collections by monitoring outstanding balances, sending reports to attorneys and clients, and recording payments in TimeSolv daily.
• Prepare and review financial statements using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and investigating variances.
• Lead the month-end close process and reconcile accounts to maintain financial integrity.
• Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and onboarding or offboarding of employees when needed.
• Collaborate with tax preparers to address inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
• Generate monthly reports detailing time tracking and collections by attorney.
• Produce and share daily deposit reports to maintain transparency in financial operations. Requirements • Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
• Ability to conduct account reconciliations with precision and timeliness.
• Expertise in journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other financial management tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication abilities to interact with attorneys, clients, and team members.
