C.H. Robinson SSC AR Manager in Dalian, China
C.H. Robinson is seeking a Manager Accounts Receivable to join our finance team. In this key position, you will lead Accounts Receivable (AR) team to ensure the team achieve productivity, quality, and service objectives in Finance operation area to support business. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Establishment of AR team
Set up and stabilize AR team, including recruiting, on-boarding and training to ensure the smooth transition and operation of Accounts Receivable process
Collaborate with project team, internal and external stakeholders and lead the teams to transfer invoicing, cash receipt and apply, collection activities from sub-region finance centers or/and local branch Finance teams according to planned timeline
Evaluate and respond effectively in a timely manner to exceptions and issues to ensure that financial and business disruption risks are minimized during transition period
Day-to-day management:
Oversee overall quality & efficiency of AR operation function, including l invoicing, cash receipt and apply, collection and customer maintenance to ensure compliance, accuracy and efficiency
Develop, implement and periodically evaluate and enhance AR relevant policies and SOPs, as well as make recommendations for best practices to meet internal and external operational excellence goals
Develop AR process relevant KPI metrics to benchmark team performance
Measure, monitor the team's performance and communicate operation results as well as action plans with internal and external stakeholders
Lead team to deal with exceptional cases / issues, complex queries in accordance with company policy and process requirement and communicate stakeholders in a timely manner
Development and Improvement:
Continuously evaluate operational processes for effectiveness and efficiency and to remove waste, reduce cost and increase quality
Leverage technology to enhance quality and efficiency through re-engineering and/or automation of key processes
Ensure an understanding of available tools and systems to improve work processes and automation among the teams
Oversee the implementation of identified areas of improvement
Establish and/or reinforce a culture centered on quality, process, and efficiency
Leadership:
Outline employee role accountabilities and expectations; manage performance to drive the right behaviors and improve results and provides useful real-time coaching, feedback, and mentoring, development activities and stretch assignments; supports employees with problem resolution
Develop and implement regular training program to support the team's development in the skills and abilities
Gather data and provide input to support the creation of financial performance goals, including a revenue and expense budget for the team
Manage hiring, on-boarding, annual compensation programs through partnering with HR according to company's policies
Encourage employee feedback through formal and informal channels, acknowledge and take actions on feedback to drive a trusting culture of open two-way communication, inclusivity and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree above
At least 5-10 years experience in Finance or Accounting areas
Preferred Qualifications:
Working experience in in-house or service oursourcing delivery company
Experience in leadership of the team with size around or above 10 people
