Your role and responsibilities
As a seasoned Project Manager: SAP, you will lead SAP implementation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring successful implementation of SAP solutions that meet business objectives. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop and Execute Project Plans: Develop and execute project plans, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure successful project delivery. • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and project progress. • Manage Project Risks and Quality: Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and ensure quality assurance and testing of SAP solutions. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify project scope, and define project deliverables that meet business objectives and customer needs. • Manage Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure successful project delivery.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Expertise in SAP Implementation: Proven track record of successfully leading SAP implementation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. • Experience with Project Management Methodologies: Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with a focus on managing large-scale SAP implementation projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and budget management. • Experience in Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, IT, and business stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and project progress. • Certification in SAP Products: In-depth knowledge of SAP products, including SAP HANA, with a focus on ensuring quality assurance and testing of SAP solutions. • Experience with Vendor Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• SAP HANA Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SAP HANA products, with a focus on ensuring quality assurance and testing of SAP solutions, is beneficial for this role. • Agile Project Management: Familiarity with agile project management methodologies, in addition to traditional project management approaches, can be an asset in managing large-scale SAP implementation projects. • IT Service Management: Knowledge of IT service management principles and practices can be advantageous in ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
