Your Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role within the Engineering Project Management Office, supporting the delivery of engineering projects across their full lifecycle—from early engagement through to production and sustaining activities.
You will:
Support delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality objectives
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes
Apply project management methods, governance, and tools to meet contractual and customer requirements
Manage stakeholders across engineering and non-engineering functions
Monitor progress, analyse data, and prioritise actions based on business needs
Support change management and evolving product requirements
Contribute to contract, funding, and commercial discussions
Assist in transitioning product development into manufacturing
Ensure compliance with aircraft certification requirements
Conduct peer reviews of technical data, reports, and analysis
You may also be required to travel within the UK and internationally (10%).

Candidate skills & requirements
What You'll Bring
Essential:
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Electronic, Materials, or similar)
Experience in product development, R&D, or production engineering
Experience with project management methods and tools
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to analyse data and prioritise effectively
Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
Desirable:
Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Professional registration (IEng/working towards CEng)
Experience with engineering design tools (e.g. Catia, Nastran)
Knowledge of aerospace certification and compliance requirements
