The Position (Summary): Exciting temporary opportunity at The Steelastic Company to grow your career in mechanical assembly while working alongside experienced professionals in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The Mechanical Assembler (Temporary) will be responsible for timely and accurate assembly of assigned product(s), troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical assemblies and systems that meet current configuration as defined by engineering. Work includes new product assembly, refurbished components/assemblies, testing, engineering prototype support, and building maintenance. Minimum Essential Requirements: * Independently assemble sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and systems per manufacturing drawings, Bill of Materials, schematics, and instructions * Proficiently operate hand tools and small power tools and understand their use and function * Working knowledge on how to use precision measuring tools and fitments/tolerances * Working knowledge of pneumatic schematics, symbols, and plumbing * Ability to learn water/hydraulic schematics, symbols, and plumbing * Inspect all work before passing it on to the next operation * Perform required repairs/refurbishments to return assembly to operational state * Keep supervisor informed of all potential issues for quick resolution * Provide support to the production supervisor on all production assignments, and work with other departments regarding special work assignments * Conduct inventory cycle counts * Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines * Must own basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets, hammers, screw drivers, pliers, et Apply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjQ5NjA1LjEwNTA4QGhlaWNv
