Area Temps, Inc. Lab Technician in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

A large chemical supply company is seeking a Lab Technician for a full-time opportunity. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Partially set-up and mix compounds to predetermined specifications
- Read and interpret specification sheets
- Set up and maintain production pace while setting up and weighing oils required to run each compound
- Document all material and compound traceability requirements
- Perform pre-shift set-ups
- Occasionally use lift truck and face masks
- Consistent heavy lifting, occasionally exceeding 50 pounds
- Keep work area clean and safe
Requirements:
- Must have previous Lab Technician experience with the ability to set-up and mix compounds
- Must have the ability to read and interpret specification sheets
- Must be able to document all material and compound traceability requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced dirty, dusty, and noisy environment while standing all day
- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
- Must have steel toed boots; uniforms will be provided
- Must be able to perform consistent heavy lifting, exceeding 50 pounds
Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Factory or manufacturing experience is preferred, but company is willing to train.
