Area Temps, Inc. CNC Machine Operator/Programmer – First/Second Shifts in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

A global manufacturing company is seeking individuals to program and operate CNC Mill Machines. You will review the machine schedule, program for work scheduled, and ensure the proper tooling, material, and set up items are available and are used with maximum efficiency. There are openings on both first and second shifts; however, a typical work week is up to 55 hours, which may vary with workload.
Job Responsibilities:
- Retrieve data and create programs, as required, to maximize machine utilization
- Operate the machines to achieve maximum throughput and utilization and inform management of anticipated and actual completion times
- Inform management of anticipated conflicts for future operations
- Ensure parts machined match current data and meet tolerance requirements
- Participate in activity to improve throughput or utilization
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete required preventative maintenance activity
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Must have 3 to 5 years Machine Operator and Programmer experience
- Must have the ability to ensure proper tooling, material, and set up items are available
- Must be conscientious and persistent about working to meet or beat department utilization and throughput goals
- Must be able to pay a high attention to detail and be self-motivated to get projects started on your own
- Must enjoy working in a team environment, possess strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy learning and applying new technology
- Must be willing to work the hours needed to complete job on time
