Description
As a Senior System Software Engineer, you will design and develop software across Apple operating systems (iOS, macOS, and beyond) for a wide range of audio features and functionality. A core part of this role involves designing and building frameworks that expose and advertise AirPods capabilities to the broader Apple software ecosystem, enabling other teams and features to leverage the full power of AirPods hardware. You'll collaborate closely with design teams and cross-functional partners — including the AirPods firmware team — to prototype, architect, and deliver software solutions for audio accessories.

Minimum Qualifications
You have 5+ years experience in software design/programming with C++, Swift, or Objective-C
You have a solid understanding of object-oriented methodologies, multi-threaded programming and operating systems concepts
You're experienced with wireless or audio solutions
You have strong debugging skills
You have a BS or MS in CS, EE, or related
Preferred Qualifications
You're experienced working with wireless technology, (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi)
You have experience with SW audio features like Telephony audio or Bluetooth audio
