We are looking for a creative and highly motivated Network Architect to join our team. Having depth and breadth of knowledge designing and architecting in a large-scale distributed environment is a strength you'll need. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a comprehensive understanding of the network security protocols & standards, routing, switching, automation and deep understanding of fundamental network theory will help you succeed.

Description

The Systems and Infrastructure team builds and manages world class services and physical infrastructure for Apple software engineers world wide to build, test, and release Apple's software.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in large-scale data center network architecture and WiFi design

  • BS, BA, or BEng degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience

  • Deep knowledge of multi-site networking, routing, switching, firewalls, and security frameworks

  • Executive-level presentation skills, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology

  • Experience working cross functionally to resolve complex issues and meet project timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automation tools that eliminate routine tasks. Every manual process is an opportunity to code a solution

  • Hands-on experience designing secure wired & WiFi networks

  • Ability to lead network projects and roadmap for the organization
