Apple is looking for an individual to join the Product Launch and Marketing Operations team within Worldwide Marketing to help deliver successful product launches and ongoing projects as the leader of the Customer Database Marketing team.

The Customer Database Marketing team owns the end-to-end processing, management, audience segmentation, and usage of data for marketing communications through direct marketing emails and push notifications. These campaigns range from product announcements to programs including trade in, back to school, and holiday.

Description

As the leader of the Customer Database Marketing group, you will oversee the teams focused on Governance, Campaign Operations, Communication Systems, and Data Management. You are also the champion for privacy and process improvements relating to the maintenance and evolution of the database. This role is highly cross functional and works with teams across Apple including WW Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, AppleCare, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Regulatory, Retail, IS&T, and Services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years Direct Marketing experience, CRM, or equivalent in marketing campaigns

  • Strong organizational and collaboration abilities.

  • Excellent forward-thinking capabilities, able to see beyond the current state, proactively identifying risks/opportunities.

  • Experience using enterprise-based tools such as email distribution systems.

  • Excellent program management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Experience managing a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot and proactively address risks, gaps, or breakdowns in communication.

  • Own new systems, providing updates on critical checkpoints and elevating risks to business partners and executive team.

  • Operate in highly cross-functional, fast-paced environments.

  • Ability to delegate while maintaining oversight over the outcome.

  • Flexibility to support off-business-hours work during critical launch windows or when issues arise.

  • Able to see across workflows, dependencies, and timelines to prevent issues before they occur.

  • Able to move seamlessly between a high-level view strategy and deep, execution-level detail.

  • Experience using AI to improve processes and reporting.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
