Technical Medicaid Business Analyst (100% Remote)
Are you a Medicaid expert who speaks both "policy" and "tech"? We are seeking a Technical Medicaid Business Analyst to act as the primary bridge between our Medicaid business operations and technical delivery teams. This is a critical role ensuring our systems align with federal/state regulations and operational needs.

The Role
You will translate complex federal and state Medicaid requirements into detailed functional specifications. You’ll partner with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure our platforms—including claims, enrollment, and care management—remain compliant and operationally efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Translation: Analyze CMS and state agency policy changes; assess their impact on system configurations and workflows.
Technical Design: Create detailed use cases, process flows, data mappings, and interface specifications for IT and vendor teams.
Data & Integration: Support data flows between internal systems and state agencies, focusing on encounter data, quality measures, and financial reporting.
Testing & UAT: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that technical solutions meet all Medicaid business and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate workshops between non-technical business leaders and technical developers to ensure alignment.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Health Admin, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Medicaid or Healthcare Payer space.
Strong mastery of Medicaid programs, managed care operations, and state/federal compliance.
Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Medicaid MCOs or state programs.
Familiarity with claims platforms, encounter processing, or care management systems.
Technical proficiency in SQL or data warehouse concepts.
Experience working in Agile, SAFe, or traditional SDLC environments.

Pay Details: $51.12 per hour
