About the Role
Albireo Energy is looking for a Senior Field Automation Engineer to serve as the technical authority on BAS and EPMS systems for large-scale mission-critical data center construction projects. You'll design system architecture, develop advanced PLC and BAS programming, and lead integrated systems testing — while mentoring the next generation of automation engineers.

What You'll Do
Design BAS and EPMS system architecture and define programming standards for the project.
Develop advanced PLC and BAS programming for complex mechanical and electrical systems including redundant cooling and power infrastructure.
Plan and lead integrated systems testing (IST) with commissioning agents and owner representatives.
Serve as the primary technical escalation point for engineering and field teams.
Review and approve programming deliverables, point-to-point documentation, and commissioning records.
Coordinate with commissioning agents, project managers, and owner representatives.
Mentor and develop Field Automation Engineer I and II personnel.

Requirements
What You'll Bring
5+ years of BAS, EPMS, or automation engineering experience, with at least 2 years on mission-critical data center projects.
Advanced proficiency in BAS programming across multiple platforms (Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, Siemens, or equivalent).
Expert-level Rockwell ControlLogix / CompactLogix PLC programming.
Deep understanding of redundant data center infrastructure: UPS, STS, CRAH, chillers, and EPMS.
Strong knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, SNMP, and OPC protocols.
Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring capability.
OSHA-30 required.
Pay Rate: $74k-$115k DOE
