Personnel Staffing Inc. Office Assistant in Cullman, Alabama

This position is a temporary position as an office clerical employee. The person will work in three apartment complex offices on a rotating basis and will be responsible for handling all items required in those complexes. The apartment complexes are located in Guin, Sumiton and Carbon Hill. Candidates should have reliable transportation and a valid drivers' license. Background and drug screens will be conducted. The candidate should have experience with clerical skills, computer skills, and customer service. The current opening is a 12-week assignment with the possibility that it will become permanent.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Answer inquiries pertaining to apartment's leasing policies and services.
  • Resolve occupants' complaints.
  • Observe all aspects of the complex to ensure adherence to facility's policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate front-office activities of the complex.
  • Inspect apartments for rent and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
  • Assign duties to workers, as needed.
  • Present, receive, and process lease agreements and payments.
  • Mail letters of confirmation or return checks when registrations cannot be accepted.
  • Purchase supplies, arrange for outside and repair services, etc.
  • Collect rent payments and record data pertaining to funds and operational expenditures.
  • Implement new policies and procedures when required.
  • Prepare required paperwork pertaining leasing and operational functions of the office.
  • Show, rent, and assign specific apartments to new residents.
