Core Responsibilities Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows: General operation of Multivac at end of Microwave line. Ensuresproper scaling and quality of finished packages. Loadsfilms, both forming andnonforming. ProgramsMultivac and changes programs as needed. Records production to get film yields and keeps film inventory. Sets up andoperatesmachine, making minor repairs and adjustments as needed. Monitors finished packages for leaks, gas mix, etc. andkeepsseal area clear of product. Maintains quality andweightsasrequired. Adjusts depth of tools fordifferent sizepackages. Changes from gas flush to vacuum pack as needed. Covers water sensitive areas of the machine beforecleanup. Fillsout production anddown timereports. Changes gas cylinders as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.
