Eaton Corporation IMMEX Analyst (Temporary) in Cuautitlan, Mexico
What you’ll do:
The major role of GTM (IMMEX) Analyst is to ensure the temporary inventory for Cuautitlan plant, meets with all Mexican Customs regulations with an import/export operation and customs transactions performed a year. There are roughly 223 customs requirements per site that this position needs to ensure in order to maintain the current certifications and government programs such as IMMEX, PROSEC, C-TPAT, OEA programs and VAT certification among others. This position is also responsible for maintaining and updating compliance documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures. GTM - IMMEX Analyst is responsible for engagement delivery, customs compliance and quality, productivity and report management, and exception management; as well as reporting metrics or KPIs of their operation in charge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Ensure for the temporary inventory management of MX sites in charge.
B. Ensure the data integrity of Trade Compliance processes.
C. Ensure the full compliance with New Customs Regulations, military license agreement, Freed Trade agreements, etc
D. Monitor the import/export of raw materials, finished goods, equipment, scrap, non-productive material, excess and obsolete (E&O) operation on a monthly basis.
E. Perform audits to the Annex 24 (Interfaces, Operations Report, I/E Modules, BOMs, Product Values & Costs, Country of Origin, NAFTA Certificates or Manufacturer Affidavit, Duty Payments) and maintain this information updated in the system.
F. Inventory Reconciliation performance between Annex 24 and ERP (SAP, Oracle, MFG Pro, AS400, ERP, QAD, and ENOVIA), including: Cycle counts, receiving discrepancies, inventory adjustments, company losses, perpetual inventories, company sales.
G. Achieve metrics and goals related to Trade Compliance.
H. Ensure the functionality of the Annex 24 (11 modules)
I. Responsible for maintaining the electronic or hard copy records for the customs Operations performed in Mexico such as reports of Annex 31 and Annex 24.
J. Annex 24 management for business in charge.
K. Maintain strong communications with all members for businesses in charge.
L. Ability to work with SCM to validate the necessary information of Raw materials, identify new products and BOMs as well with other departments that need support from the Trade Compliance team.
M. Execute all applicable Mexico import/export compliance processes and procedures in conjunction with various Trade Compliance functions within Eaton and external resources, to enhance the import and export operation.
N. Stay up to date with the Law and other customs regulations applicable to import and export trade operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in the field
Manufacturing background
Technical Knowledge
Proficient Microsoft Office (Excell audit formulas)
Knowledge of Vastera or related
Knowledge of ERP transactions
Ability to implement Customs Software
Knowledge of Annex 24 software (TSMX Prefered)
Develop efficient interfaces between ERP and Annex
