Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Program Manager to lead a residential program that supports individuals with developmental disabilities. This position ensures person-centered services, team leadership, regulatory compliance, and financial management at the assigned location.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train direct care staff and nurses

  • Coordinate care plans and lead IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) meetings

  • Ensure compliance with DHS licensing and ICF regulations

  • Support individuals in setting and achieving personal goals

  • Communicate with families, guardians, and case managers

  • Manage household budgets and individual finances

  • Oversee program documentation, incident reports, and audits

  • Provide 20 hours/week of direct care, including 2 weekend shifts/month and 1 evening shift/week

Requirements

Must meet one of the following (per MN Rule 245D):

  • Bachelor's degree in human services + 1 year direct care experience

  • Associate degree + 2 years direct care experience

  • Diploma in related field + 3 years direct care experience

  • 50 hours of training + 4 years of direct care experience under qualified supervision

Additional Requirements:

  • One year of supervisory experience preferred

  • Valid Minnesota driver’s license and acceptable driving record

  • CPR/First Aid & Medication Administration certifications (or ability to obtain)

  • Successful completion of a DHS background check

  • Ability to lift 60 lbs and meet physical demands of the role
