Bus Driver/Facilities Custodian is responsible for ensuring that facilities, materials, equipment, environment and transportation services are safe and appropriatelymaintained. Ensure the required inspections, maintenance, repairs and transportation services are conducted.Maintain all health and safety regulations. Must have COVID-19 vaccination or receive it upon hire. If hired, must get a complete physical exam, have valid Texas commercial license with School bus certification or obtain within 60 days after hire. Must be 21 years if age and provide 3 years driving record, pass criminal background check, and a valid Identity Verified Print fingerprint clearance card.Responsible for the safe transportation of children to and from center. Transport parents and staff to parent center meetings. Responsible for maintenance of assigned vehicle daily.Responsible for the daily maintenance of the center, sanitation of restroom facilities, sweep-mop center, replenish all paper supplies, empty trash throughout center.Ensure safe loading and unloading of all ECD children from school bus.Complete preventive maintenance of bus-inspect daily and document.Provide orientation and training for Volunteer/Bus-Aides.Report all vehicle failures or problems to management. Maintain complete confidentiality.Maintain a clean and orderly bus-make minor bus repairs. Notify management of an facility or equipment concerns. Attend ALL required trainings. Perform ALL other dutie as assigned by management and supervision. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Walking, sitting, standing, climbing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and balancing. Perform essential functions, able to work outdoors, and travel (instate and out of state). Work well under pressure and be calm and even temperament when dealing with unruly passenters.
