Regional Operations Lead
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will focus on the execution of supply chain activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. This position involves coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and overseeing transportation processes. Works closely with vendors and internal teams to optimize workflows and address any operational challenges.
The primary responsibilities of this role, Regional Operations Lead, are to:
Partner with sales leadership to develop strategies, build alignment and collaboration with Product Supply functions that enable annual and quarterly business targets for the portfolio while meeting customer expectations;
Ensure effective collaboration, process design, and compliant execution with and for our partners, customers, and commercial teams to develop strategies and approaches that enable the team to create value added partnerships with retailers and Seedsman that induce brand loyalty and trust;
Enable achievement of business objectives through execution as well as insights of KPIs and forecast adherence while effectively influencing behavior of parties to driving desired behavior;
Act at the Unit leader of 15 employees and contractors covering the operations and execution of order fulfillment;
Be responsible for partner operations & execution, while serving as the PS member on unit supporting squads;
Ensure effective management, process design, and compliant execution while co-creating with commercial squads to ensure alignment between commercial business and product supply;
Partner across product supply to remove roadblocks that hinder delivering the business at scale and efficiency;
Drive, enable, and empower operations squad as the primary communication contact for partners to coordinate and resolve needs / requests for order fulfillment;
Align operational plans with Go-to-Market & distribution strategies;
Support strategic initiatives to optimize Cost-to-Serve and drive profitability;
Partner with US leadership to identify gaps and execute capability and readiness improvements;
Be accountable for regional performance through the US Control Tower operating model, proactively identifying, and removing barriers to service level and quarterly target achievement;
Ensure timely and accurate reporting where automated tools are not available, including returns, settlements, and exception-based performance tracking;
Own and optimize operational tools (i.e., Seedbin or similar platforms) to enable efficient order execution and partner collaboration;
Own resolution of escalated issues from sales, customer service, and partners that may impact business results or customer experience;
Lead continuous improvement of order and delivery management processes to improve service, speed, and accuracy.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree;
Domain knowledge in operations, business, process analysis, strategy development, behavioral influence, change management;
Key focal competencies of influencing, customer focus, strategic mindset, results orientation, cross-functional collaboration, agility, conflict management, decision making; strategic communication, critical thinking, change management;
Outstanding leader, influencer, collaborator, communicator, organizer, coach, customer relationship manager, managing through ambiguity, problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field;
10+ years of operational experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, and/or Commercial Sales, including experience coaching and managing teams;
Advanced degree or relevant professional certification;
Agriculture knowledge;
Product management knowledge.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $143,840.00 to $215,760.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
