BizDevOps Manager - Cyber Security Architecture
PURPOSE:
The BizDevOps Manager plays a key role in transforming our principles into action for Platforms delivering technology enabled offerings through:
Customer-First Approach: Prioritizing business outcomes throughout the end-to-end value chain. Maximize value for the customer by driving decisions and actions that directly impact their experience.
End-to-End Decision-Making and Accountability: Enable empowered decision-making as close as possible to the desired outcomes.
Efficiency and Simplicity: Implement processes, systems, and operations for speed and simplicity.
Transparency and Trust: Promote transparency and increase alignment between IT and business outcomes to create an environment of trust and ensure a more collaborative approach.
Engineering Talent, Competency, and Skills: Maximize mission work by building a skill-based organization that encourages fluidity of talents across different teams and emphasizes higher quality outcomes.
The BizDevOps Manager drives implementation and continuous improvement of the skills, behaviors, and practices to activate these principles. They understand business as well as engineering and can operate on all levels in the organization. They have a cross-domain scope and therefore are able to challenge decisions and coach both technical and non-technical people.
The preferred location for this role is Creve Coeur, MO, however, other Bayer site locations in the US may be considered based upon the needs of the business.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze platform metrics and operational data to support decision-making processes and define accountability to enable delivery of platform outcomes efficiently;
Work closely with product and technical teams incl. business to ensure seamless communication, transparency and alignments;
Observe and recognize opportunities to further develop behaviors/skills that improve teams' agility;
Track/monitor success and performance of applied processes, behaviors/skills and report findings/observations to stakeholders across platforms;
Assist in identifying gaps and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity of platform resources;
Collect feedback from business/IT stakeholders to help refine processes and improve platform delivery/outcomes;
Apply industry best practices/trends to co-create solutions with teams based on their unique circumstances;
Assist in the planning and implementation of change management processes, ensuring that changes are communicated effectively, and stakeholders are prepared to make informed decision;
Facilitate clear and effective communication between platform teams, provide updates on status, changes, risks etc.;
Create and maintain documentation for processes, tools, and platform outcomes and OKRs;
Run and manage agile ceremonies such as quarterly release planning, roadmap creation, and vision;
WHO YOU ARE:
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree preferred);
5+ years of relevant IT industry or equivalent experience;
2-3 years of experience working with and/or leading agile teams;
Experience with agile tools and techniques;
Proven ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels, including senior leadership teams;
Knowledge to coach and mentor people/teams;
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in cybersecurity, innovation and/or digital technologies;
Background in management consulting, strategy, or transformation;
Familiarity with OKRs, SAFe, Scrum, or other scaled agile frameworks;
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR) and secure SDLC;
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SAFe, or similar are a plus;
Demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation initiatives.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $114,400.00 - $171,600.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
