Actalent Mechanical Design Engineer in Crestview, Florida
Job Description
We are building a U.S.–based engineering team to support the mechanical redesign and configuration development of Group 1 UAS platforms, including next‑generation systems such as HoneyBadger and Scorpio 500.
In this role, you will lead mechanical updates and U.S.-specific variant modifications for existing drone platforms. Your work will directly support NDAA‑compliant sourcing, improved manufacturing scalability, and domestic production initiatives.
This is a hands‑on mechanical design position involving the creation of sub‑assembly drawings, development of engineering BOMs, and the transition of engineering configurations into production‑ready manufacturing documentation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
