You will be an Electronics Technician II, applying your comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems and maintain, repair, troubleshoot, modify, and install various types of electronic equipment and related devices. What You Will Be Doing
As an Electronics Technician II, you will be responsible for:
Interpreting manufacturers' manuals and technical documents to solve complex problems
Troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment, including radar, radio, television, telecommunication, sonar, and navigational aids
Installing, modifying, and maintaining electronic systems, including personal and main frame computers and terminals
Evaluating performance and reliability of prototype or production mode equipment and recommending changes to simplify assembly and maintenance
Reading and interpreting USAF technical orders, service bulletins, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and best method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning systems
Providing technical guidance to lower-level technicians and receiving technical guidance from supervisors or higher-level technicians as needed
