Worker will perform a combination of tasks involving attend to live farm and ranch animals that may include caring for chickens, goats, basic feeding and cleaning duties. Attend to animals. These duties may include feeding, watering, herding, riding, exercising, training, grooming, shoeing, weighing, catching, and loading animals. May maintain records on animals; examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; assist in birth deliveries; and administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate. May clean and maintain animal housing areas. Must be able to work at times in a standing, walking and stooping position. Employees must be able to frequently lift weights up to 50 lbs. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned are provided to the worker without charge or deposit. Hours may fluctuate due to weather conditions or mechanical breakdowns but will not reduce the guarantee over the life of the contract. The worker will be required to work a minimum of 38 hours a week. Worker may require to work a 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm on a Sunday and require to work a 2-hour shift between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm on a Tuesday and require to work 7 hours shift between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm from Wednesday through Saturday. Worker will get a 30-minute lunch break. Worker must be able to take direction in simple English.
