Westinghouse Electric Company Senior Engineer - APX Fleet Design in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

About the role: As a Senior Engineer - APX Fleet Design Management you will guide design integration between the operating fleet of AP1000 plants and the future fleet under development.

You will report to the Senior Manager, APX Fleet Design Management and be located at any Westinghouse location in North America or EMEA. The position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Lead collection, assessment, and decision-making for incorporation of lessons learned from the operating AP1000 fleet into the fleet design Develop AP1000 product technology presentations and supporting information Build database of lessons learned, design changes, operating and outage performance Lead interface with the operating plants team and integration with the fleet Work with cross functional teams (design, analysis, projects, supply chain, etc.) to solve challenging technical problems to implement nuclear plant design Provide technical guidance, direction, and collaborate with other personnel including partners suppliers, fabricators, and customers Identify and define technical risks and challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution

Qualifications: Engineering Degree 4+ years of relevant experience Knowledge and experience in AP1000 plant or new nuclear plant design

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year.
