Senior Social Center SSC & SOS Coordinator in Craig, Colorado
Description: Assists in operations of the Senior Social Center (SSC) and its programs. Works as the membership relations and Senior Outreach Services (SOS) coordinator maintaining databases with up-to-date contacts for the SSC members and SOS clients. Assures that the SSC is open and ready to greet participants. Helps the clients identify resources, refers them to the proper contact or to the Resource Navigator. Assists with other programs and events such as the potlucks, Lunch & Learns and in the garden. Develops trusted collaborative relationships with clients and partner organizations. Manages the volunteers for the SOS program.
Supervisor: Executive Director
Part-time: 30 hours a week
Wages: $16 - $17 per hr.
Responsibilities:
o Coordinates center operations, including meeting, greeting and working to help participants.
o Office administration, including phones, computers, room set up, and providing coffee.
o Helps with members and maintains databases to track membership and participation.
o Organizes the SOS program, maintains a database to track client contacts and volunteer's time.
o Facilitates calls, cards and visits to SOS clients.
o Makes client referrals to appropriate community resources.
o Assists with coordinating the Home Services & Modification program
o Track and monitor referrals of clients for reporting as requested.
o Assist with light cleaning within the office and after events. Occasional meal prep.
o Assist Executive Director with programs and events.
o Enters daily revenue on a worksheet and submits it weekly to the bookkeeper.
o Assist with social media and marketing.
o Other duties as assigned.
