Mansfield Service Partnersis seeking a Knuckle Boom Operator/Fuel Tank Technician in Covington, OH with a Class A CDL to safely transport and rig out fuel and lubricant equipment, operate a knuckle boom for deliveries and service calls, and manage lubricant inventory, order fulfillment, and product distribution. Essential Duties: Receive directions and assignments from the OSE and MSP Operation Manager Safely operate the knuckle boom to lift, load, transport, and unload petroleum tanks at various locations. Tank Weight ranges from 1,200 LBS - 11,000LBS Conduct pre and post-operation inspections of the crane to ensure it is in proper working condition. Securely load and unload petroleum tanks onto delivery vehicles and at customer sites, ensuring the stability and safety of the load. Deliver Skid Tanks Ranging in sizes 500 Gallon - 4,000 Gallon Tanks Pickup Skid Tank that has Hazardous residue in them Ranging 500 Gallon - 4,000 Gallon Tanks Utilize proper rigging techniques to safely lift and maneuver petroleum tanks and other heavy equipment.Inspect rigging gear such as slings, chains, and hooks, ensuring they are in good condition and appropriate for the load. Securely attach loads to the knuckle boom, verifying balance and stability during lifting operations. During Down Time when not delivering Tanks, you will be required to run service calls or rig out and Stage Tanks. Manage Lubricant Inventory control When necessary, fill totes, drums and pails of lubricant products to meet orders Transport totes to and from bulk storage yard via box truck Other Duties: Provides and maintains fuel and lubricant related equipment through installations, service calls, repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections. Utilizes computerized fuel management systems to manage fuel disbursements. Samples services for fuel and lubes. Performs field inspections and maintenance of both MSP and customer owned tanks and related equipment (fleet pumps, hoses, nozzles, and related equipment). Delivers and picks up fuel and lube tanks. Rigs out tanks to customer specification. Identifies and reports customer service, equipment, and SH&E issues to supervisor. Establishes and follows procedures and protocols; maintain consistency in work process. Maintains Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) compliance requirements. Removes old and damaged decals off tanks. Cleans and paints tanks and containment pan inside and outside. Manages work area free of trash and garbage. Cleans up service spills. Inspects gasoline and diesel dispensers for any visible leaks on hoses and nozzles. Inspects all storage tank lids to confirm they are locked and tight. Recognizes sales opportunities and communicates to supervisor, or other company personnel, as directed. Physical and Environmental Conditions: xThe position is located in an outdoors environment frequent encounters dirt and dust, noise and vibration, fumes and odors and wetness/humidity. May be frequently exposed to mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. This position may require travel via vehicle and airplane. Employee may be required to sit for long periods of time. The incumbent frequently lifts up to 25 lbs. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This position does not generally require long hours and weekend work, but it may be necessary on occasion. Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%.
