Description

We are seeking an experienced Controller to provide strategic financial leadership and support the overall fiscal health of the organization. This role is essential in maintaining strong compliance practices, supporting operational initiatives, and guiding financial planning to advance organizational goals. The Controller will partner with internal leaders and external stakeholders to uphold financial integrity and contribute to long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, delivering forecasts, projections, and actionable insights to support informed decision‑making.

  • Establish, maintain, and enforce financial policies and internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance and safeguard organizational assets.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce costs through system and workflow improvements.

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, multi‑year financial plans, and oversee payroll and core accounting functions.

  • Manage key financial operations, including general ledger oversight, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Prepare and present financial updates, compliance reports, and strategic recommendations to leadership and governing bodies.

  • Participate in committees and initiatives related to financial planning, long‑range visioning, and retirement plan administration.

  • Collaborate with auditors and external partners, supporting audit processes, regulatory requirements, insurance matters, and financial oversight of technology systems.

  • Provide stakeholders with clear, timely financial reporting to support effective decision‑making.

  • Align financial practices and long‑term planning with the organization’s strategic priorities and mission.

Requirements

• experience in financial management or related roles.

Expertise in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and develop actionable strategies.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
