Job Description:
With supervisors and interacting departments, plan, organize, direct and run safe and optimum day-to-day site operations to exceed our customers’ expectations and business objectives
Increase productivity, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs (budget compliance) and maintaining requirements to all quality, environmental and regulatory management system standards and guidelines
Implement and monitor a comprehensive preventative maintenance program assuring equipment reliability and critical spares and contingency plan program
Monitor operations, plant processes, report performance to goals/budget and implement action plans for continuous improvement
Collect, analyze and review data with physical observation to continuously improve organization, processes, safety, housekeeping and environmental improvement efforts while eliminating waste
Develop goals, systems and processes that track and optimize quality, cost, productivity and standards, metric and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
Support development of and manage to site fiscal year cost and capital appropriation budgets, review financial statements, activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures, conferring with the executive members, management team and staff as necessary, proactively and collaboratively communicating with all levels of organization
Understand, implement and enforce required safety and environmental programs
Share a trusting relationship with all levels/departments of Mytex US organization. Recruit, manage, evaluate and develop GA plant staff
Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees.
Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS requirements.
Perform any other duties as assigned
