Job Title: Hardscape Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Hardscape Foreman to supervise and lead a team in constructing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features. This role requires a strong leader who can manage projects effectively and ensure high-quality work.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of hardscape workers in constructing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other features.
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for accurate project execution.
Coordinate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for timely and cost-effective completion.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Train and mentor team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in hardscape construction.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Resolve issues or challenges that arise during the project.
Essential Skills
1+ years experience as a Hardscape Foreman or similar role in the landscaping or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of hardscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
Driver's license and reliable transportation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in landscaping and hardscape management.
Proficiency in construction management.

Work Environment
Work on commercial job sites in all types of weather conditions, from hot to cold, and rain. The company culture is family-oriented with a team size of 12-14 employees. Crews vary from 2-4 members depending on the project. The dress code requires steel toe boots and pants. Standard hours are 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, with summer hours from 6:00 am - 5:00 pm, starting at the shop and heading out to the job site. Employees must have their own personal hand tools, including bags, tape, and hammer. PPE such as hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, and high visibility shirt/vest are provided.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cottage Grove, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $68640.00/yr.
Company pays 50% Paid time off - eligible after 1 year and in good standing with company Paid Holidays - if they fall Monday - Friday (new years day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas day) 401K Match - 100% match at 3%, 50% match of next 2% Offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-term and Long-term disability, Life Insurance
