JOINT CONSTRUCTION STAFFING Framing Carpenter in COTTAGE GROVE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Joint Construction, is currently seeking skilled framing carpenters for multi-family/commercial projects throughout the Madison area. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of construction with rough carpentry experience. Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction documents Build, erect, and assemble structural frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs Measure, mark, and cut lumber to precise dimensions using hand and power tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the construction process. Install bracing, anchors, and other reinforcements to ensure the stability and integrity of structural frameworks, following building codes and safety standards. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the designated specifications and building codes Assist in preparing work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials to facilitate efficient workflow and productivity. Requirements: Previous experience in rough carpentry or a related construction field is preferred, with a solid understanding of construction techniques and practices. Proficiency in using a variety of carpentry tools and equipment, including saws, drills, nail guns, and levels, to perform tasks accurately and efficiently. Punctuality and dependability are essential to maintain project schedules and uphold quality standards throughout the construction process. Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
