Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Intern, Purchasing
you'll play a pivotal part on our purchasing team. The Purchasing Intern will support the procurement team in sourcing materials, components, and services for aerospace projects. This role involves assisting with supplier communications, order tracking, and data management to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing. The intern will help maintain records, evaluate supplier performance, and collaborate with internal teams on inventory needs. This position offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations within a dynamic aerospace environment.
• Assist with issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding order status and inquiries.
• Support supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Help maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Gather and compare quotes from different suppliers.
• Assist in resolving order discrepancies and returns.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.
• Support cost analysis and reporting activities.
• Research potential suppliers and new materials.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the procurement team.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.
• Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment
Internships are 12-weeks in duration and 29 hours/week.

The expected salary range for this position is between $22-$24/hr USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
