Role Summary: We have a great opportunity for a driven, high-energy, talented Project Manager to join our team as a Project Management Supervisor. This individual will work closely with their team and the end customers to ensure we are providing excellent customer service and meeting (or exceeding!) the customer’s expectations.

Your role:

  • Direct responsible of a team of project managers, with responsibility over project execution teams including but not limited to: project managers, project engineers, documentation coordinators, buyers, etc participating in the project execution for the different sectors served by Flowserve.

  • Motivate and drive the project team to providing an excellent Customer Experience.

  • Drive and track the PM team and project execution team performance related to project quality, delivery, and cost to ensure meeting or exceeding expectations.

  • Responsible for teams’ project execution of day-to-day activities from order reception until customer acceptance/project close out.

  • Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure necessary information is available (contracts, T&Cs, contractual specifications, change orders, budget, customer key communications, etc.).

  • Monitor and implement actions related to assigned main project KPIs including but not limited to, Task OTD, RTM, Gate Quality and OTD, Change Orders, Documentation OTD, PWC Milestone billings and Cash Collections.

  • Proactively collaborate with Commercial Operations, Engineering and Operations Teams to ensure a clean and on time Gate execution.

  • Support sites and team strategies & objectives by driving team member accountability.

  • Provide an atmosphere where continual training & education are the norm and high performing associates are retained through understanding their career growth opportunities.

  • Support EBU Operating Model vision and department’s mission fully and effectively by holding team accountable for their responsibilities and addressing performance obstacles to ensure results are met.

  • Use key PMO metrics and team cadence and daily management meetings as primary mechanisms for monitoring performance, driving effective execution and managing team responsibilities.

  • Monitor capacity and load of team, making necessary adjustments to manage demand as per PMO processes and procedures established.

  • Support team members in reviewing customer contracts and mitigating risks for commercial and technical issues as well as in addressing supply chain, manufacturing, testing, or quality issues.

  • Work with the team to maintain continuous communication with customers about the status of the projects, and coordination of customer interfaces (technical interfaces definition and attendance to inspections)

  • Ensure on time projects billing according to project baseline and partner with Finance team to create Fcst and collect cash on time.

  • Support onsite meetings, testing, onsite supervision, and visits as needed.

  • Escalate all pertinent issues/concerns in a timely manner.

  • Adherence to Project Behaviors: Take Ownership, Plan for Success, manage and Control Change, Target win-win solutions, finger on the pulse, do not accept delays, constantly assess and mitigate risk, remain optimistic, make decisions, communicate transparently and escalate quickly.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Your profile:

  • Capability to influence others and lead the project team by example.

  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams from different countries and time zones.

  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • High English language communication skills.

  • Strong conflict management and communication skills.

  • Ability to operate and lead in the day to day as well as maintain vision and focus on strategic, longer-term objectives.

  • Project Management experience with current knowledge in EBU and PMO processes and procedures.

  • Experience in managing projects and schedules through MS Project professional including schedule logic, resource management, float/slack management, critical path management.

  • Experience in leading and executing Phase Gates as per current PMO standard processes, templates and procedures, this individual will be responsible for ensuring quality and on time performance of Gates within his project span of control.

  • Experience in managing and executing project change management as per current standards and procedures established in the PMO, this individual will need to ensure change orders are executed in consideration of technical assessment, leadtime and cost as per stanards.

  • Experience and understanding of project cost controls including ITD, FTC, EAC, LD’s and per standards.

  • Experience in creating and presenting project reviews to stakeholders as per standards with current comprehension of the tools and dashboards available to present the data.

  • Experience in managing major projects for EPC Contractors and End Users locally and internationally.

  • Willingness to travel to internal or external Flowserve or customer sites as needed.

  • BS or BA Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering fields and 5-7 years relevant experience.

  • Minimum 3 year experience in Project Management Team.
