Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) – PreOp/PostOp in Corvallis, OR .
This is an on-site, contract position (full-time hours)
Contract Dates: 05/2026 to 08/2026 – possibility of an extension
Pay: $55–$57 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Corvallis, OR 97330
Schedule: 7AM to 3PM or 7AM to 5:30PM
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in Pre-Operative and Post-Operative (Day Surgery) settings
• Perform thorough patient assessments, including pre-op intake, vitals, and history collection
• Monitor patients during recovery, ensuring stable post-anesthesia status and safe discharge readiness
• Assist with perioperative workflows to maintain efficient OR flow and patient throughput
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff (Ortho, General Surgery, Urology, GI, Podiatry, GYN)
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and post-op interventions as ordered
• Educate patients and families regarding pre-op instructions, post-op care, and discharge planning
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in EMR
• Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards throughout care delivery
• Participate in teamwork to ensure smooth surgical schedule progression and patient transitions
Must-Have Qualifications/Experience:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
• Experience in day surgery, PACU, pre-op, or perioperative nursing
• Exposure to surgical specialties including Ortho, General Surgery, Urology, GI, Podiatry, and GYN
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment

Pay Details: $55.00 to $57.00 per hour
