Position Overview
System One is seeking a Project Management Analyst 3 to support project controls, time collection processes, and data integrity across complex engineering and project environments. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate time tracking, project cost alignment, and supporting continuous improvement of project management systems and tools.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience with ERP systems, and a background in project controls, accounting, or project management operations.
Key Responsibilities
Timekeeping & Data Management
Support and troubleshoot time entry processes for employees and managers
Process timecard data and ensure accurate transfer to ERP systems
Validate payroll interfaces and ensure successful data integration
Track and resolve timecard discrepancies and incomplete submissions
Reporting & Reconciliation
Perform audits and reconciliations of timesheet and payroll data
Identify discrepancies and communicate with project accounting, billing, and payroll teams
Generate reports and support automated data validation processes
Project Controls Support
Assist with project cost tracking and billing data accuracy
Support resource assignments and project setup activities (including Primavera P6 inputs)
Contribute to Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis support
Process Improvement
Develop and improve workflows to reduce errors and streamline processes
Support enhancements to project management tools and digital systems
Manage request queues and support timecard correction processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in project controls, accounting, or project-related operations
Strong knowledge of:
Timekeeping systems and ERP platforms
Accounting principles and data accuracy
Microsoft Office (Excel required)
Experience with ERP systems such as:
Microsoft Dynamics
Oracle (OTL, PPM) or similar
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting project controls in engineering or energy environments
Familiarity with:
Primavera P6
Earned Value Management (EVM)
SQL and Power BI reporting
Experience working in regulated environments (DOE, nuclear, etc.)
Additional Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to support DOE-related work (10 CFR Part 810 eligibility)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
