Jacobs Instruments & Controls CAD Intern in Corvallis, Oregon
We are looking for an I&C CAD tech for our Corvallis, Oregon office. This role is meant for anyone currently enrolled in school who is working towards a degree in Computer Aided Drafting. This is an opportunity to get work experience for college and hopefully work into a full-time role at Jacobs once they get their degree. We use Bentley and AutoDesk as our base platform(s) but have a large number of other specialty software as well.
Each designer works on multiple projects at same time and looked to provide 2D design. The student will learn new CAD tools on the job and gain valuable work experience while obtaining their degree. Then once the student completes their degree and graduates, we can evaluate the option of becoming part of Jacobs family full-time. The opening is located in Corvallis, Oregon and can be a part-time position that will work around school hours. The office provides a very friendly personable environment where we are flexible with our employees need to support our families and communities as desired.
'- Must be currently enrolled in secondary education courses and working towards a degree in CAD or Engineering.
CAD application understanding preferred in MS and ACAD but will help teach on the job.
Must be willing to work in the Corvallis office a minimum of 16-20 hours a week on average while finishing school. More hours are always welcome with some hybrid working at home.

CAD application understanding preferred in Micro Station and ACAD but will help teach our 3D modeling platforms on job.
