Redding Reloading Equipment General Light Machine Operator in Cortland, New York
General Light Machine Operator 3/2026 A full-time position with Redding Reloading Equipment in Cortland NY for a general light machine operator, position which will function in multiple tasks requiring basic manufacturing skills. Some light Machine operation such as loading and unloading a roll threader and setting letters for roll stamping of product. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining the equipment used. Training on all aspects of the position will be provided. The company has a 4 day, 40 hour work week, competitive pay structure starting between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour, plus overtime when needed. Hours are 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM, Monday thru Thursday. Overtime, if available is on Friday and may be requested on a weekly basis. The company offers a comprehensive, premium benefit package available after an introductory period, including health, dental, prescriptions and eye care. Paid holidays after introductory period of 30 days and paid vacation, paid sick time, paid family leave and a short-term disability plan are also offered after their respective introductory periods, some which are state mandated.
