CITY OF CORTEZ Refuse Collector in Cortez, Colorado
SUMMARY OF FUNCTION
Collects refuse and trash within an assigned route, and assists Refuse Equipment Operator in unloading refuse truck at the landfill.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Heavy lifting.
Heavy manual work for extended periods of time.
Exposure to variable weather conditions.
Works weekends and holidays when necessary.
May be required to pick up dead animals.
