Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Corsicana, Texas
Job Title: Maintenance Technician (HDPE Pipe Manufacturing) Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the continuous operation of pipe extrusion lines in an HDPE manufacturing environment. Your role involves performing preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and optimizations on heavy industrial machinery, ensuring production targets are met without compromising safety or pipe quality.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair single and twin-screw extruders, including barrel heaters, screw assemblies, and gearboxes.
Service vacuum tanks, cooling troughs, haul-offs (pullers), and planetary saws or 'chip-less' cutters.
Troubleshoot high-pressure hydraulic systems used in pipe belling and pneumatic systems for material handling.
Diagnose electrical faults (480V) and assist in troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems (e.g., Siemens or Allen-Bradley) that monitor pipe wall thickness and line speed.
Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on chillers, air compressors, and resin conveying systems to prevent unplanned downtime.
Essential Skills
Fabrication and Industrial skills.
Proficiency in using calipers and schematic diagrams.
Maintenance repair experience.
Electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance and repair with minimum 3 years of experience on industrial machinery.
PLC troubleshooting skills.
Ability to function effectively as a member of a highly motivated maintenance team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree in business or equivalent.
Demonstrated coaching and team building skills.
Effective communication skills.
Working knowledge of electrical blueprints.
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Basic Mathematical Skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
