Provide personal assistance to individuals with disabilities who require help with personal care and activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation. May also provide help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry. Work is performed in various settings depending on the needs of the individual, including their home, a 3 or 4 person group home, or at an adult daycare. A caring, positive attitude, a professional demeanor and the ability to work well with others is essential to the success of this position.
